What we do

The Resource Equality – International (RE-I) team has a mission to provide equal access to clean water and sanitation and promote natural resource conservation through balanced use and development.

RE-I promotes universal access to clean water and sanitation through a comprehensive approach.

• Water Resources:
• Rehabilitation and improvement of existing water wells
• Installation, improvement and repair of water well pumps
• Construct new water wells for families and communities
• Test and monitor water well quality and safety
• Participate in country-wide testing of existing wells to determine a regional Drinking Water Quality Index
• Train and educate nationals about clean water conservation
• Promote and distribute water purification products and technology
• Encourage and facilitate rain water collection and safe storage

Sanitation & Hygiene

• Educated residents about proper sanitation and hygiene practices
• Construct sanitary facilities for households and communities
• Inspect, maintain and improve existing sanitary facilities
• Promote clean water conservation through sound sanitation practices

Natural Resource Conservation

• Promote equitable and balanced use of local water resources
• Support and encourage balanced governmental development of natural resources
• Advance the national policy of environmental protection through local diplomatic encouragement
